Mr. Rajnesh SINGH

Rajnesh Singh is Director of the Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau at the Internet Society, the world's trusted independent source of leadership for Internet policy, technology standards, and future development.

In this role, he oversees projects, initiatives and activities across the Asia and Pacific region, including in the areas of Public Policy, Capacity Building, Development and Internet Standards & Technology.

Prior to joining the Internet Society, Rajnesh played founding and leading roles in several technology and private equity investment firms, and still maintains varied business interests. He has broad project management experience, and his career background includes communications & power infrastructure, agriculture and real estate. He has provided consulting and mentoring support on business strategy to start-ups and SMEs in the Asia-Pacific region, and has held advisory roles across multiple sectors ranging from governmental organisations to sporting organisations and the private sector.

His extensive work with the Asia-Pacific Internet community includes leadership roles such as Founding Chair of ICANN's Asia Pacific Regional At-Large Organisation (APRALO) and Chair of the Pacific Islands Chapter of the Internet Society. He has worked extensively on ICT policy, training and capacity building in the region, including delivering programmes for UN agencies and the private sector.
